Bunting evening photos

Here are a few images from last week's very successful bunting-making evening, which was held at the Foresters Arms.

Jo had already cut out triangles from the fabric which Kate had bought, and had sewn over the ends. The main task was to thread all of the flags together using baler twine...

...of course baler twine only comes in short lengths, so we then had to tie all the bits together. Some people had done 'red-white-blue' whereas others had done 'blue-white-red', but after a bit of thought we managed to work it out!

We then stretched out the bunting down the length of the pub car park - we probably have a good 40 metres or so.

So now less than a week to go, and more preparations in the meantime.
