Public meeting

Today we held the first public meeting, which took place on the corner of Barkers' Court and Station Road. Eleven people attended, in addition to the fourteen slips which had been returned from the leaflets distributed last week.

Everyone at the meeting agreed with the idea of the party, and we discussed several aspects including road closure, insurance and contributions. We also agreed to form a committee. A more detailed description of the meeting, and of the work of the committee in the next few weeks, will be posted shortly.

We have set up this website to make it easier to discuss the party and to circulate and make public various documents and information... so watch this space!
